HASSELBACK POTATOES dan IKAN DOWRY GORENG BERSALUT

HASSELBACK POTATOES


Bahan-bahan:
  • 6 medium size potatoes
  • 2-3 cloves garlic - pound
  • 3 tbsb butter
  • a pinch of salt
  • freshly ground black pepper

Cara-cara:
  1. Wash potatoes thoroughly. Trim one side of potato to a leveled surface (flat) for ease of cutting later.
  2. On a chopping board, with the trimmed flat side down, start from middle of the potato, cut almost all the way through, but being careful not to actually cut through. Well, the two forks in the picture, I've used those as stop-gap/leverage to maintain the consistencies and pattern of the slices.
  3. Arrange the processed potatoes in a greased baking tray and insert the pounded garlic in between the slits. Brush some butter on top of each potato, then sprinkle some salt and some freshly ground black pepper.
  4. Bake potatoes at 200C for about 40-50 minutes until the potatoes turn crispy and the inside is soft.
  5. You may serve this with sprinkles of cheese or sour cream.

Bahan-bahan:

4 keping fillet ikan (beli kat pasaraya-guna ikan dowry)

Bahan A
1 biji Bawang besar
5 ulas bawang putih
1/2 sudu besar serbuk lada hitam
Garam halus
Sedikit kiub ayam maggi

Bahan B
1 Biji Telur
5 keping biskut tawar 4segi (cth :pingpong cream craker) -sy guna nestum+breadcrumbs


Cara-cara membuat


  1. Kisar lumat Bahan A, masukkan garam dan kiub ayam secukup rasa (jgn byk2 sgt nnt masin ikan tu. jadi ikan masin plak!!)
  2. Perap ikan dgn bahan yg telah disediakan lebih kurang 1/2 jam -1 jam
  3. Kisar biskut dlm Bhn B kasar2
  4. Lepas tu celup ikan dory yg dah diperap tadi dengan telur dan golek2kan dalam serbuk biskut yg dikisar kasar..
  5. Goreng sampai masak.. jgn kuat sgt api, nnt hangus dan isi tak masak..ok!
